[ThaiHaBooks] Ho Thi Hai Au was born in Nghe An, and is the youngest child in a family of 6 children. Her family has traditionally been drawn to learning, fond of hard work, and has positively persevered through difficult and often dangerous situations during the war and other social upheavals. Her father was a dedicated and kind-hearted doctor while her mother was a resourceful vendor. In any lamentable social situation, they never ceased to encourage their children’s education, and continually endorsed self-study and self-enlightenment.
Ho Thi Hai Au has proudly carried on her family’s spirit, and she further upheld such a spirit when she became a young mother in 1996. Since then, she has prioritized her time to do further research on education, developmental psychology and human anatomy with the ambition of becoming the first and deserving teacher for her little daughter.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Literature from the Vietnam National University, she is also a member of the Vietnam Writers Association, and has won many national prizes in literature. As an experienced journalist she who has written about different sociocultural topics as well as macroeconomics has also had the opportunity to work with several experts in different fields from America and Europe.
